Deborah K. Ultan is the Arts, Architecture & Landscape Architecture Librarian at the University of Minnesota. Deborah oversees the collections for art history, dance, theater, architecture and landscape architecture and is the liaison to the art and art history departments, the theater and dance department, and the College of Design. As part of the University Libraries’ initiatives she is part of the Research Services Coordinators, has co-chaired the Open Access Policy Sub-committee, served on the Streaming Video Task Force and the Digital Arts & Humanities Group. Deborah authors articles, book chapters, book reviews, and presentations on the digital humanities and the arts, scholarly communications and electronic publishing, collection development and various topics on the arts. An art curator, she coordinates several on-site exhibitions throughout the University Libraries and teaches a course on curatorial theory and practice for the Department of Art. An active member of the Art Libraries Society of North America, Deborah served on the ARLIS/NA Executive Board from 2006-2009.  Deborah teaches yoga and keeps up with sports according to her son’s interests!
