Job Opportunity: Institutional Archivist

The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Campus Libraries seeks a dynamic, collaborative individual for the position of Institutional Archivist to be part of a team to provide collection management, reference, instruction, and outreach services for the University of Minnesota Archives and within the broader efforts of the Department of Archives & Special Collections (ASC). The Institutional Archivist participates in processing planning and description of institutional records in support of user access, the mission of the University Libraries, and the University’s system-wide strategic plan to “advance a deeper understanding of institutional history.”  This position will work in partnership with faculty in the Department of History and the Heritage Studies and Public History program. Collaborations may include team-teaching, exhibit development, and mentoring graduate students and internships in public history and archival studies.
