Programming & Pizza

Do you have an idea for a web design project but need a little technical guidance? Want to experiment with scripting in R or Python? Curious about Git or GitHub? Want advice about how to create a map using GIS? Perhaps you don’t even know what you don’t know and need a helping hand.

Join experienced staff from Libraries, Liberal Arts Technology and Innovation Services, Research Computing, and CSE-IT at our monthly Programming & Pizza, now held virtually, so it’s B.Y.O.P. (bring your own pizza). We’ll connect you with an expert for 30 minutes of help via Zoom. Must sign-up in advance.

As a reminder, we can support the following:

• Scripting and research programming questions about R and Python

• Web design and hosting advice on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress

• Workflow issues related to Git and Github

• Mapping and geospatial work that utilizes GIS
