Lindsay Matts-Benson - Instructional Designer, University Libraries
Lindsay Matts-Benson is an Instructional Designer for the University Libraries. Since 2012, she has collaborated with librarians and library staff on building online instructional material, such as tutorials, videos and presentations. She enjoys investigating new technologies to improve online instruction as well as technologies that work to improve access to instructional materials. Prior to joining the University Libraries, Lindsay worked as an Educational Technologist and Librarian and William Mitchell College of Law for 10 years helping faculty integrate technology into their classroom instruction and building online courses and course content. Lindsay is passionate about enhancing student learning through creating accessible, thoughtful and creative learning experiences online and in-person learning experiences for students. Lindsay has a Master of Arts in Learning Technology with a certificate in e-learning from the University of St. Thomas, a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University in River Forest, IL and a BA in Sociology and Communication from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
