Second Annual Day of DH
Carleton’s Day of DH is a one-day regional conference where those engaged in digital scholarship in the upper midwest can share their work, forge connections with other DH practitioners, and learn new concepts and skills. The morning is devoted to lightning round presentations and a digital poster session designed to highlight the current projects of the participants. The keynote speech, which takes place over a catered lunch, will be given this year by Dorothy Kim of Vassar College, on the topic of “Disrupting DH and Dissident DH Pedagogies.” The day will conclude with an afternoon of hands-on breakout sessions on specific aspects of DH pedagogy and practice. You can read more about last year’s event on our website.
We hope you will be able to join us as a participant or presenter! If you would be willing to participate in the presentations, please fill out the Day of DH Exhibit Information Form.
This will be a full-day event sponsored by the Humanities Center, Gould Library, and Academic Technology at Carleton College.
